What is the best way to study edexcel a level maths and do well?

Should i go through all the exam solution videos and start doing past papers
    or
should i go through the textbook and finish each chapter from there and then do the past papers.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
At AS I did questions from the textbook throughout the year as we covered it in class. Then about a month or so before the exam I started doing past papers and I would recommend doing some of them timed. I also used Mathsnet Alevel to get extra pratice on topics I found difficult although I think your school has to have a subscription to this.
    I hope this helps.

There is no right or wrong way. You need to discover what works for you and how much effort is required.
What I've seen work well for a lot of people is
Go to lessons, do the work and ask questions. Read ahead in you text book so you come to lessons with an understanding and participate more fully.
Do lots of practice from the text book especially any mixed exercise, exam style questions or review exercises. If you find a topic difficult do more questions.
Use examsolutions or other online resources to clarify a topic if you are confused and to do exam practice questions if you want to test your progress.
Practice, practice and more practice is key to success, start early enough to do plenty of past papers, especially recent ones and use the IAL papers (International A level) for more unusual questions.

Do Solomon and IYGB papers as well. But you should be fine for 90ums if you just do every paper since the specimen one ( around 20 papers or more) after completing the chapters. Mark and check the ones you got wrong on exam sols
