Do I need to do an access to nursing course?

    Hi All.
I am interested in doing a degree in Adult Nursing.

I am 27 with 2 children, the eldest will be starting school next year and youngest will go to nursery and be looked after by her dad while I'm at uni and on placements (he works for himself so fully flexible).

I got 11 A-C grades at GCSE, including Maths, English and Science and BC in my 2 A levels and a pass grade in my BTEC course.

I've been researching online but am unsure whether I will be able to go straight into doing the degree or whether I will need to complete an access to nursing course first. Is anyone able to advise on what they think I will need to do?

I'm going to the open day in November so will ask then, just wanted to get some opinions.

I also have experience of working in a care home.

I've just started the Adult nursing course, although you may well be able to get into university without completing the Access course, I would seriously recommend that you do complete it otherwise you may really struggle with some of the courses

Hi, Carno13 Did you decide to do an access course or did you apply straight to the universities? Any luck so far?
Which party will you be voting for in the General Election 2017?
