Hi, I've recently applied to several jobs including Build-A-Bear and Yankee Candle, does anyone know how long roughly it'll be before I get a call?
I applied two days ago and I'm just wondering whether anyone has had any responses quicker or whether it takes a while to respond. I'm especially curious about Build-A-Bear as I really would like that job, how long did it take for you to get a call if you've applied there before?
    Thank you!

    It depends on the company

Some companies will get back to you the next day, others can take weeks or even months to reply.

I suggest you continue applying elsewhere in the meantime.

Thanks, I've applied to around 7 jobs but I'm still looking.

Some companies just won't reply at all. Keeping applying and good luck!

assume you're unsuccessful until you hear something

hiring schedules will vary from location to location even within the same company and some people won't get back to you at all

I've worked for Build-A-Bear. They got back to me in a day but they only hire twice per year so you may have to wait a few days/weeks. Also just to let you know to get the job you need to pass a group interview, one-to-one interview and an ethics test, so it's quite a long recruitment process.
