Powys Court?

Hey everyone! Just got my accomodation letter back from Chester and im apparently staying in Powys Court! Is anyone else staying there in september and can anyone whos already stayed there tell me what its like :smile:

I didn't live there but it seems ok. It's not on campus which means walking a bit more to uni in the mornings but it's in town which means you don't have far to stagger on a night time.

Haha cool, thats what we like to hear, although I think its safe to say on freshers week making it back to my house will be a challenge lol

Hey Flynn, didnt realise i would meet a new block mate all ready but im in block 8 room 6, good cook are you?? hope to speak soon before we go, its actually only like 2 minutes from the main high street but have to get use to walking to lectures and freshers week will be a struggle,lol. Speak more!! :smile:

Hey mate! I make a mean chicken risotto, ur in luck lol. Apart from that though, ill be living off pop tarts. Powys court sounds boss! Near the town centre n tht so aint goto far to crawl after a night out :P Cnt wait for freshers week, hope ur bringin a few crates of corona with u lol. Is our house all males do ya know or is it a mix?

I'm not sure, i hope it's mixed sex, but didnt expect to find anyone in my block i just typed powys court into google, search engines are quality!,lol. Yep i can bring some beverages up, Well I'm doing a combined degree in nutrition and sport so I'm sure my cooking skills can come to use. what course are you on?? uni is going be class, first time i'm leaving Cheltenham and Chester seems a great city! You on any social sites like bebo,myspace,etc! :wink:

Powys is single sexed. When I was there, 4 of the houses where female, the other 8 where male. Nothing to stop you nipping next door...

Ooooh nutrition ey, bout time i had some healthy meals lol, im doin Network and Communication Systems, basically IT. Dang its single sexed, our house is gonna be a sausage fest lol. Wot sports u in2 dave? Support cheltenham fc? Lol.

Yeah footy is the sport for me, sometimes watch cheltenham play! single sex sounds lame, but hopefully everyone will be quality, you seem up for some great laughs! I'm try to eat quite healthy but hey it's never enough. 40 days and well up for it, havent quite joined the facebook revolution yet, but been planning to do it! Just on my break at tesco's now, hoping to transfer to earn money up there aswell. Got plenty of money saved up then with a nice big student loan and overdraft?? :biggrin:

Hehe im an Everton season ticket holder myself, the 1 and only true team in liverpool i might add lol. Glad you seem the party type 2 was worryin that i was gonna be stuck in a house full of wrist slitters lol. Haha well I took a gap year this year and saved up a bit of dough but savin that for a holiday next year :biggrin:

I didnt bothered with a gap year,oh yeah will be using my tesco discount for our weekly shop. Well I'm not going out as much lately just to save the money for uni i guess especially the first week,I'm mainly into my indie and rock music, love going to festivals like reading etc. but I'm easy! you? Guaranteed that we get one geekfreek in our block,lol! Season ticket holder this season??? Hopefully go watch some games then :smile:
