I'm applying for 2017 entry and I've always had in my head I was going to do Physics. However I have recently came across the 'Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics' course at UOB. Does anybody know more about what this course entails and possible career opportunities from it?
    Thanks.

Judging from the modules available it's similar to other Maths and Physics courses around there. You'll do a mixture of some physics modules and some applied maths modules and will take less practical modules than physics students, if any. After following a course like that you'll be better prepared to understand the mathematics behind theoretical physics. Hate to state the obvious but that's all there really is to it.
