Economics or business?

I'll be applying for uni soon, and was thinking about doing an Economics course, as I enjoy the subject. I also did really well at business at GCSE. Anyway, I can't go to one of the really top universities for economics or business, but I'm concerned that doing economics would give me less career options than doing a business degree. Anyone have any thoughts?

They'd both give you similar sort of jobs although Economics would probably give you a slightly larger range. Since you've chosen these sort of degrees I'm assuming you want to go into Finance, then degree won't matter.

There is literally no reason to pick Business over Economics assuming all things are equal.

I mean Business Management from Cass is better than Economics at Brunel or something but if it's in the same school Economics will always have more prestige.

Ok, thanks very much. I was actually thinking ooing into logistics, so I suppose both would give a good base. Thanks for the replies
