Tuition Loan

    • Thread Starter

I applied for student finance this year after taking time from the past two years out due to illness, and my assessment came back saying I was eligible for maintenance loan but no tuition fee loan. I appealed (not realising what I should have done was ask for compelling personal reasons) and on the 18th September received an email telling me that my case was not relevant for an appeal but that it would be passed back to the assessors and I should hear shortly.

I haven't heard anything yet, and its getting close to the beginning of term (3rd October). I know that it takes time to assess but I am worried that since I haven't signed any declaration yet I won't even have maintenance loan, and if I don't get tuition loan I wont be able to stay at university.

What should I do in this situation?
