I'm looking at applying for Gonville and Caius in Cambridge. It is such a beautiful college, and not too small, which definitely attracts me!
The one problem is that first years all live out of college, on a different site... The accommodation looks lovely - really modern and spacious - but how annoying would being a 15min walk from the college be? Would it hold me back from meeting new people?
Would appreciate any advice!

Quoting from the Gonville and Caius website: 'All first years live together on one site, so it's easy to get to know your year group quickly'. The first year accommodation isn't 'outside the college' as such, just provided in a separate constituent building. .
So is your concern that you will not meet students from other years? I'm sure you will get to meet them easily by joining clubs or societies.
