I got AAB for my a levels and economics is a pretty competitive subject. I have a fair amount of work experience in charities (the financial side). I called up and they said that although i have the minimum, they usually don't take people with my grades. I have two choices next year, either I do an internship for six months at a charity law firm or take the second year of economics a level to give me four a levels.
Which do you think would be better for the application? Should I apply at all?
Would I be able to get into Edinburgh for economics? Watch

If you take the 4th A level are you sure you can do well and will be considered? Even with the work experience your grades will make the difference. Is there anywhere else you'd like to go that is happy with your grades?
