Taking BMAT as a Scottish Student

    • Thread Starter

I am a student who currently attends school in Scotland and thus following the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence (National 5, Highers, Advanced Highers) hoping to apply to medicine at Cambridge.

I would of course have to sit the BMAT in order to apply to Cambridge but given that the recommendations and guidelines for test takers provided by the Admission Testing Service are based around the English curriculum, it is difficult to gauge how to prepare for the test as a Scottish student.

If anyone here has taken the BMAT as a Scottish student or else, has taken it at all can provide me with any advice for preparation I would be grateful - it is difficult to find any sort of support for this online without sifting through pages of forums in hope of finding something useful.

Thank you for any help you can offer,
