What do you guys reckon are the worst questions you could ask a potential employer in an interview.

I'd say that "I've got a couple court dates coming up, would I be paid if I took the day off?" is pretty bad.

Have you asked anything and instantly regretted it?

Discussing salary at the first stage. And if asked by the employer instead, then knowing how to give the right answer. If in doubt, discuss with your recruitment agent first (if that's how the interview was arranged).

This is not something I've done, but I'm just putting it out there for the benefit of others.

There's no issues in asking about lunch hours, shift times, dress code, company culture, workforce etc. towards the end of the interview during Q&A once you've exhausted other more relevant questions. If anything, it makes you more serious and keen about the role. Remember that it's a two-way street, it's not just you being interviewed.
