How can a girl be both flirty and play hard to get?

I asked about why some girls aren't girlfriend material, because a lot of guys look past me. Including guys from my university and in my year who I see on nights out. Other girls just find boyfriends so effortlessly and easily yet not me.
A poster suggested I behave flirty hard to get. I feel like those two things are opposite things? How can I be both at the same time?

No you don't have to act like someone you're not, you will only attract the wrong type of person and end up regretting it. Act yourself and don't actually go out looking for a boyfriend it will come when you least expect it.

I like it flirty, much easier to pull...

Don't be hard to get, its such a nuissance!!!
I just feel like running away, just be sweet and caring.
Socialise, and talk to the guys a lot. Even if you aren't beautiful your personality may fit with one of a nice guy...

I like easy girls. Not for one night stands. For actual relationships.

The world isn't black and white. It's not "hard to get" or "easy", there are a myriad of choices to choose.

If you like someone, then say so. If you don't like someone, then don't pursue them. Be direct.
