Not received student loan on time

    • Thread Starter

My maintenance loan was supposedto come through yesterday yet I haven't received it or any contact from SFE. I have registered with my university and j have my student ID. What coulde my issue?

Ring SFE and see what the problem is. Dont just wait to see what happens.

Do not fear! Basically what happens is that your university needs to confirm your attendance, (if you went to any lectures or introductory talks in your induction week, you might've filled in a register to confirm you are present) and then the uni will inform student finance that you have officially attending the uni. Once the student finance company receives this information, they will then process your maintenance loan and send it into your bank account within 3 working days. Happens to everyone. Even though you have enrolled and everything, this is the normal process. Sorry for the long post, hope it helped!
