Hi everybody, I am doing PGCE Secondary Maths in Wales at the moment. I am eligible for the training bursary, as I have 'settled' status and first class degree. I was told by the uni that they needed to wait for the confirmation, then they can give me the form to fill in. I am quite anxious and I have waited for two weeks. I don't know what to do. Continue waiting, quit or try to make phone calls to the relevant department. does anybody have the similar experience? please give me some advice, thanks.

Waiting for confirmation about what and from whom?

There's no harm in chasing this up and asking for an indication of how long the wait might be. Just tell them that you need to know so that you can manage your finances successfully whilst you wait. I'm sure they'd be understanding of this.

They kept me waiting. I found out AFTER i started that I got the bursary. I would start asking people but I wouldn't panic or quit as it could be a delay.
