Research project on the environment?--IDEAS please help!!!!!

Hey, I need to basically do a research project on the environment.It could focus on any aspect really.I just need some sort of guidance and ideas.I was going to do it on organic solar cells, but I need to do some sort of practical around it so I'm not sure what to do.

Other than the solar cells, I am open to any sort of ideas whatsoever like have you recently read any article or heard something to do with the environment?

Presentation/fair i guess.It's sort of like a long term homework project where we need to present at the end.
