I'm not too sure of the meaning of this poem. What is your interpretation of the symbolism and meaning of this poem? It's kind of interesting.

    That Moment

When the pistol muzzle oozing blue vapor
    Was lifted away
Like a cigarette lifted from an ashtray

And the only face left in the world
    Lay broken
Between hands that relaxed, being too late

    And the trees closed forever
    And the streets closed forever

And the body lay on the gravel
    Of the abandoned world
    Among abandoned utilities
    Exposed to infinity forever

Crow had to start searching for something to eat.

Damn it's so difficult making sense of this poem. I don't know what it means. I figure someone died or is otherwise somehow on the floor, but blue vapor is just confusing me and "being too late". Did someone get shot, and then someone is crying as they look up at the smoke in the sky which is why it looks blue and someone is dead among utilities of warfare such as guns and knives, so that they'll forever remember that death. Their hands relaxed because they knew it was all over. Then the crow had to eat the dead body. Wait, is the crow talking?
