I have recently been in touch with Tim Luckhurst (Head of the Centre for Journalism), to discuss entry requirements. He encouraged me to apply and to phone him if I had any enquiries about the application process.
Anyways, I looked into the University more and was really interested in what the University had to offer. Accommodation looks nice, course sounds great etc.
I tweeted about how I was keen to go to University of Kent, and someone said it was really great (not on the Journalism course), then someone who has been on the Journalism course contacted me saying it had been the worst year of her life, and she dropped out because of how bad it was.
So I was wondering, is it really that awful, or is it just an unfortunately bad experience that isn't the norm?
I am from Scotland, and hoping to go to a University in England, so I don't really have any personal experience of what the area is like.
Has anyone been on/currently on the Journalism course, who can offer me some insights on what their experience was like?
Check if you passed that exam!
