    If you have a GOOD degree and a GOOD SOLID income with good assets then you're middle class.

    It depends what you class as middle class.

    For me most of the over 40's are middle class not so much for the under 40's due to house prices

    I thought that the middle class depended on one's profession? In that case, the middle class would make up a large minority of the population, with the working class still being a majority.
