You won't get any poisoning from uncooked British meant. Seriously, there is nothing to worry about. Haven't you ever had a rare steak before?

Blue is about the difference between rare and medium, medium and well done obviously, it's just more bloody than rare - when you cut it blood oozes out.

Does it taste better like that? I've never tried it myself, the most i've ever had is it being rare, but not rare enough its moving around on my plate mooing at me.

You will get symptoms normally within 4-8 hours, symptoms can range from an upset stomach to diarhea to "hurling" up to and possibly including death. But death mostly occurs from complications like dehydration. But if you got bachilism....

Urr, there is a huge difference between an uncooked steak and an uncooked burger. Any gastronome can tell you that a burger should always be cooked well done. Unlike steaks, burger meat is minced up. So any bacteria which might have been on the sides of the meat could be mixed into the centre. For this reason, if you value your health, it is vital to ensure a burger is cooked throughout.

Steaks are different altogether; a good steak is always better slightly pink. Only the ignorant ask for a steak to be cooked well done. A flash in the pan is all that is required to kill bacteria on the surface of the meat. Provided the meat is of good quality, there will be no nasties actually inside.

lol you're ignorant if you ask for a well done steak, how up yourself are you?

maybe people just like well done steaks? maybe they watch the program about cists in beef that contain tape worm eggs

And I expect the gastronomic highlights of these people's lives is the weekly outting to McDonalds

Tell a decent chef you like your steaks well done and they'd laugh at you.
