I am currently doing a foundation course in applied sciences and after this year I'm set to go onto neuroscience (given i get 60% or more).
My question is, is it at all possible to do my foundation year and then switch to do neuroscience at Manchester and if yes how would I go about it?

Yes it is completely possible to switch. Most Institutions will accept a foundation year as an entry route. There are 2 important things you need to do:
1) Speak with your current tutors/programme leaders and make sure that by finishing your foundation year you will be awarded the equivalent foundation degree qualification.
2) Get in contact with the Unis you wish to join (You can contact more than just Manchester) and speak to the admissions team for the courses you are interested in. Explain that you will be finishing your foundation year and they will discuss your best options.
Hope that was helpful. Best of luck.
