I used to be a very independent person, but the past year or so I've become such a home bird - I'd much rather be at home, with my mam - we're really close. I haven't been as homesick as I thought I'd be over freshers but it's really getting me down today, and I feel totally overwhelmed. Any tips for getting over it?

When I'm away from home, I don't think about home until it's time to go home. Apart from school and clubs.
