I'm applying for Liberal Arts at Durham and would really appreciate it if someone could give a summary of the Bailey colleges?

John's: Really nice rooms in historic houses on the Bailey. Home to the theological school (Cranmer Hall). Has a reputation for being quiet,, and some say Christian although other than the theology students this has no basis in the truth.
Chad's: Small, really nice accommodation on the bailey itself. Good community.
Hatfield: Large. Rooms are pick of the draw, A and B stairs and the newly renovated rooms are absolutely brilliant, while others are not so nice and some (palmers garth) are simply disgusting. Has a reputation for sports (especially rugby), public school educated students (There are more public school educated students here than state comprehensive). Strong alumni network
Castle: Has rooms in the Castle and outside the castle as well which are decent. Strong alumni network. Has basically the reputation of Hatfield, except not hated. Strong alumni network.
