HELP!! Catcher in the Rye or 1984 George Orwell?

    • Thread Starter

So, for my A2 English Literature coursework, I have to choose two books to compare, I've already chosen the Yellow wallpaper, but I can't decide between Catcher in the Rye or 1984 George Orwell, to compare with The Yellow Wallpaper. What would you suggest, as these are two great books.

I would probably go for the book you enjoy the most, I LOVED The Catcher in the Rye so personally I would go for that because if you like it more you're likely to be more motivated to put more effort into it and be more passionate about it
