calaculating magnification and stuff

    • Thread Starter

how do i calculate the magnification of cheek cells if the scale is 1 cm = 10 micrometers and the image of the cheek cells is 13.5 cm width and 9.2 cm height?

I won't answer it for you, but i'll give you some guidance. Magnification= image size (in mm)/ actual size (in um, micrometres). I'm also assuming the cell is circular, so take many readings across and find the average width.
