Art old and young theme

    Hi I am doing a s level art theme old and young but having trouble with ideas of what to put in my sketch book, I have done wrinkles around eyes nose mouth ect having trouble thinking of new things to add has anyone else done or doing this theme? Xx

    It doesn't just have to be faces.
    You could switch it up a bit and maybe look at age through natural/manmade things.
    For manmade you might look at the evolution of building designs or other inventions. You could look at how older generations dress in comparison to younger ones or compare older parts of a city to newer ones.
    For nature, you could look at plants, and people/animals as well as the things like the day (eg how the sky changes from sunrise-sunset). You could look at food and how it goes off over time or how buildings crumble.
    Basically, what I'm saying is don't restrict yourself, think outside the box and it'll make it more interesting for both you when you're doing the project and the examiner when marking it.
