I'm not doing A level art but what are your restrictions on the theme?

Can you include non-human sketches? (eg animals, plants, buildings...) or clothing/accessories? Are you supposed to stick to the extremes of very old and very young or can you draw a succession?

(if you're stuck with drawing just v old and v old people then I'd recommend giving ears and bald heads a go....babies heads are weird and old men's ears are amazing....hands and feet are worth a look at too but they're not easy to draw well.)

You could do a life cycle of a flower or of food so the food ripe and then the food later on having gotten mouldy. Why not take a picture of yourself then an older relative that looks like you and do half of you and the other half of their face to make a face which shows similarities and differences between them
