Who owns what is said on TSR?

    Say you wrote something and posted it on TSR. Can you then use that same writing in an essay of your own, under your own name? Because if someone looked it up they'd find it on TSR so it would look like plagiarism because it wouldn't be under your own name. So who owns what is said on TSR?

    User generated content is owned by the person who posted it, I believe. From what I read in the Terms and Conditions anyway...

    Users shall retain ownership rights in the text, messages, chat, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship or any other materials that they from time to time post or transmit to the Website (the “User-Generated Content”). Any User-Generated Content you post or transmit to the Website shall be considered non-confidential.

    Why would you wis to take soemthing from TSR and plaigarise?

    Ah I see, thanks man!

    Though I guess the only way of proving it was you who wrote it would to show that person that it's your account
