Journalism vs English Literature

    • Thread Starter

Hi, I'm confused between 2 courses above, and I need advices. It seems like journalist usually has an English degree rather than journalism. But I'm international student, I don't have any ideal of teaching method and learning English Literature, and journalism seems more practical.

Which one should I choose ?

Very few, if any proper journalists study journalism at undergraduate level. They study English Literature, History, Politics, Modern Languages etc. I don't think a journalism degree is going to be that useful no matter where you live. At the very least, I think you should combine journalism with another subject.
