Hi there, ill try to keep this quick. Im comsudering applying for a masters for oxbridge/ucl/lse for a masters in finance or computational finance. Im studying computer science and i achieved 82% in first year (i know first year dorant matter).

Do my module choices affecr my chances for the masters? I have 20 credits free so i can choose 2 10 credit modules or a single 20 credit module.

    My compulsory modules are:

    Computer architecture
    Compilers
    Databases
    Advanced databases
    Operating systems
    Java
    Essential algorithms

    My options are:
    HCI and applications (20 credits)
    Neural networks (10 credits)
    Robotic systems (10 credits)

Ive currently chosen hci because it would be easier for me to achieve a higher grade (easy module). So does it matter what i choose for my optional considering i get the same result?

Almost certainly not, though if you're in any doubt email the unis you're interested in. Entry requirements are all online.
