Transfer to Birkbeck

University Navigation

So, Im about to start uni on monday and I wish to transfer to birkbeck to a similiar course. I'm an EU student and I'm not getting any maintence loan so I'd like to work while studying but I'll be studying in Leicester and I just got my timetable and I don't really have a lot of time to work I'll be at uni almost every day from 9 to 5. I heard about Birkbeck where the classes are in the evenings and they have a course similiar to mine, I'd like to transfer from universities, does anyone know if that's possible? I don't want to drop out and apply to birkbeck next year but I'll do it if there is no other way.

The Birkbeck homepage is still advertising (2nd slide on the carousel) that there are places available, so there's a chance you could get in late for a 2016/2017 entry. Just be aware that it's very likely there won't be any places on the more popular courses at this stage.

Regarding your current course, you will need to look into how withdrawing from your current University works. If you've already enrolled, which I assume since you start on Monday and have received your timetable, you're probably on the hook for at least a partial amount of the yearly course fee if you withdraw at this stage.

But do you think that I would have any trouble if I decide to withdraw and start at birkbeck next year?
