    Hello. I've applied for a new job in the care section. I think I had a caution when I was in college for shoplifting. Just wondering if it will show up or not? They already offered me a job so will it affect it or not? Been a good few years now

    Find out your facts, ie the exact date and your age, and Google it, there's plenty of info online about the timings. It also depends if you are getting a standard or enhanced check. Finally, if it shows up, it depends on your employers view of the offence and the role they are employing you in.
