Just wondering how you get your a/s results. Is it pretty similar to gces, i.e separated into exam boards and then subjects?
But also can you immediately see your score out of 300 as well or do you have to do the maths, particularly for example if you have done a module twice and the best one needs to be used, perhaps?
any feedback would be much appreciated, tarrrrr

You'll get a separate results slip for each exam board you do exams with. So your results will not be shown on one piece of paper, unless you do all your subjects on the same exam board or your school/college provides a summary sheet.

As to whether or not you will see your score out of 300, it depends on whether your school/college 'cashes in' your AS results. If they do, you will see a score out of 300 on your slip; if they don't, you will have to work out your final grade for each subject and mark out of 300 yourself (so take a calculator with you just in case).
My college doesn't cash in...God I hope they just provide a summary sheet with preliminary AS grades on it. I don't wanna be fumbling around with a calculator with sweaty palms and being so nervous I'll probably press the wrong buttons lol!
There are a couple of examples of how A-Level slips look in the post below:

Wow I hope our school does a summary sheet, since they don't cash them in either. So if they don't, the exam board gives you a mark for each module and then you work out the total mark and grade yourself? Sorry I'm being stupid, I'd just like to get this clear to prepare myself! :frown: Thanks for the help everyone!

you are doing maths a-level and you need a calculator to count to 300?

I wouldn't trust my mental arithmetic when I'm that nervous!
