Questions about medicine

    • Thread Starter

I'm applying to do medicine at four universities however I am unsure of what to put for my fifth option. In my personal statement it is clear that I would prefer to do medicine, so I don't know which courses would be okay with that. I am NOT going to do biomedical science. Pharmacy is my current option, is that okay?

I'm applying to Newcastle, Hull York, Kings and Manchester.

Also I need an opinion on if my grades are alright enough to get an interview.
I have done my UKCAT and am not doing BMAT. I have an A in geography in AS and have continued maths, biology and chemistry. I will be retaking the C2 exam in maths to ensure I get the best possible grade. I've tried to make my personal statement the best it can be. My GCSEs are A*AAAABBBBBB

My UKCAT is far from spectacular but better than mediocre.
    VR - 550
    QR - 740
    AR - 650
    SJ - band 2

Be as brutal with the answer as you want. :P

Kings is very risky with your GCSE's and UKCAT, similarly Newcastle and Manchester with your UKCAT.

    Pharmacy wold probably be fine.
Do you have exam superstitions?
