Unfortunately due to certain circumstances I was not able stay at Kingston because its hard to commute to so I am going to another University for now but I was thinking to move to Kingston and do a similar business management course next year, I rang up Kingston admissions and I was told that there is no "second year" for that course, So I asked whether I can start again from the first year and the lady in admissions told me that I wouldn't be able to do that either as I would have already completed a first year somewhere else? .. I'm so confused because my close friend has done a first year at another Uni and changed to Kingston with a different course starting from year one. Can someone help me out on this and how universities work with changing over.. I'm not sure whether I will like this Uni im going to.

It's up to unis what they decide to do, and there's no set rules saying they have to allow transfers. It's also up to them whether they allow people to re-start as a first year. So if you're not sure you actually want to go to a different uni, don't go.
