    I feel like sometimes things either happen because we didn't try however there also things where no matter how much you try there is just an invisible force that makes things go the way you didnt expect, and that may be fate.

    No, I guess part of the reason is because not having a chance and just being a cog in the machine that determinism implies scared the living crap out of me. If there's actual proof then fair enough, it would suck though having to face the consequences and the physical/emotion turmoil for things that you have no control over.
