Studies Terminated But Loan Still Coming In?

    • Thread Starter

I recently didn't make it onto the third year of my degree at uni and my studies were terminated immediately, but I just received a text that my loan will be coming into my bank account within 3 days.
I am now signing on for jobseekers (universal credit) and my first payment is on Wednesday and I'm worried the student loan will affect that payment and I have to pay my internet bill on the 12th.
Does anyone know if the text could be a mistake or if I have to ring student services? If there's a way around having to ring them I'd be happy with that as they're phone service isn't great and I have aspergers (autism) which causes problems for me with phone calls.
