I have messaged my friend on Facebook my PS, will it be cached and do I need to write a new one. Also I want to check it has not been cached anywhere else, so I want to google it, will this also come up on the UCAS detection software?

No, you will not need to write a new one. UCAS cannot access private Facebook messages.
And no, there is no way to run it through the plaigarism checker beforehand.

Thanks for the reply, but referring to your second point, I wanted to know, if I 'google' my PS will it get cached

No. UCAS collates their PS corpus from online personal statements, statements in the UCAS system, and some books. They don't have access to Google search histories.
