What can sort of employment can i legally apply for? In year 11; looking to earn some money and be able to work the most hours outside of school time. My school starts at 8:30 and ends at 3:05 (excluding after-school classes) , so what would be the most opportune employment option? Thanks for any help/advice given.

I would just advise you to stay in full time education so that you can concentrate more and get good grades but if you get a job it is highly likely that your mind is fully concentrated on getting money than to actually succeed which will lead you to fail
And besides after your GCSEs you have plenty of time to work and get the money you need so just concentrate for now

Thanks for your advice. My reasoning for this is because i don't do much on a Saturday/Sunday anyway and its something i can put on my CV and earn money. I think it's the next level of independence for me: I don't know if i can work Saturday/Sundays without being obliged to work other days. I'd like to have the weekdays available for school and revision for minimal impact on my school life. Is this possible? and if so what kind of employment is this?
