Grammar or non grammar?!!!!!

    • Thread Starter

Im in year 11 and im currently in a non grammar school (local state school). I am stuck between deciding whether i should continue doing sixth form in my current school which i am familiar with (can recieve as much help as possible etc) however, the results for our sixth form are not amazing.
OR should i go to a grammar school which have amazing results for their sixth forms (around high 90% pass rate) however the issues for this are that; 1) I may or may not fit into the new grammar school environment (i have no idea how hard it is, so can someone inform me from their personal experience?!), 2) Many people get kicked out of sixth form easily and i dont know if i should risk that (are the chances of being kicked out high?!), 3) Teachers do not provide enough support to students. (are there certain schools who do provide help? From what i've heard grammar schools don't support students much.)

I don't know what is best for me. Any suggestions or info on anyone whose transitioned from non grammar to grammar school sixth form?

From what I know from others:
It is better to stay at a non grammar if you've always gone to a non grammar because chances are you won't adjust.
Ive been at a grammar school since year 7, and I know I couldnt adjust anywhere else with lower standards so yeah
