I have seen a lot of people asking asking about this and was wondering what help or advice anyone could offer me, based on my results.

    SJ: Band 1
GCSEs: 3A*s,6As, 2Bs. A2 predicted grades: AAA, in chemistry, biology and maths. I also have an AS in English Lit at a B.

I have done some reading around which universities place less focus on the UKCAT, but any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you have some decent work ex/volunteering I would say definitely Bristol as they base 70% on PS and 10% on ukcat. You'd have to check the website for exact gcse requirements but your a level predictions are what they'd want so it's worth a shot there. Avoid for sure: KCL, NCL, SOTON. Worth checking: Glasgow (while they like the ukcat, they look at application as a whole), Aberdeen and Keele possibly.

As I said I don't know gcse requirements as I'm a grad applicant so it's different for me, so worth doing some diggings yourself. Good luck !

I think you might have a chance at Bristol? Maybe Keele as well. I was hoping to apply for keele as well but I have a UKCAT score of 1720 and their cut off is 1730 😔
Really gutted because I have a LOT of work experience, was band 1 for sjt and I have a 2:1 in Chemistry. I am also wondering if Keele will look at my application as a whole too 😔
