India has been oppressing the Kashmiris since the independence of India when Kashmir, a Muslim majority state wanted to merge with Pakistan. Pellets are being used to silence the protestors, women are being raped by the Indian army deployed in the occupied state of Kashmir. Kashmiri activists are locked up in jails for speaking up for the rights of Kashmir. India has also been suppressing the voices of Sikhs who are demanding a separate state 'Khalistan'. India also opens indiscriminate fire every second day on line of control (LoC) between Pakistan and India resulting in the deaths of nearby villagers.
Should the White House declare India a terrorist state and stop all the atrocities on the human kind?

cut kashmir into half, like korea and ireland, north kashmir and south kashmir. india and pakistan can take half of each. Kashmirians who dont like living under indian rule can migrate to the pakistani's half.

Problem settled. Next please.

"India has been oppressing the Kashmiris since the independence of India when Kashmir, a Muslim majority state wanted to merge with Pakistan. India has also been suppressing the voices of Sikhs who are demanding a separate state 'Khalistan'."
How bigotted of you to imply that religion can cause division!

If you're a religious minority, India is a hell-hole. If you're a religious minority in Pakistan, India looks like paradise.

"Should the White House declare India a terrorist state and stop all the atrocities on the human kind?"
You're joking right? The White House? Really? Are you trolling? The AMERICAN White House? MURICA declares someone a terrorist state???

Azaad Kashmir - Pakistan and Jammu & Kashmir - India, already exist. The problem lies in that Pakistan wants all of Kashmir as that was originally proposed

I can't argue here because the Muslims in Jammu & Kashmir don't lead the happiest of lives.
Would I declare the entire country a terrorist state? Nope

I agree that India has certainly engaged in acts of terrorism in the past and continues to do so. However, it would be beyond hypocritical for the White House to declare India a 'terrorist state'. America is by far the world's leading terrorist state (as evidenced by its destruction of Indochina in the 1960s and 70s, causing the deaths of perhaps 4 million people and paving the way for the Cambodian genocide, its terrorism in Central and Latin America in the 80s, its economic and military terrorism against Iraq and in the Middle East generally in the 90s, and then its egregious abuses under the guise of the 'War on Terror' in the years since, from assassinating suspects around the world with drones to abducting and torturing people to bombing seven different countries). Furthermore, America is the only country in the world to have been condemned by the World Court for international terrorism (in the 1980s for its support for the contras in Nicaragua). On the question of whether the West should intervene to stop the atrocities, I think that would be beyond insane. India has nuclear weapons and has not signed the NPT, so an attack on India would not only draw huge criticism and outrage from all over the world but would seriously increase the chances of nuclear war. Furthermore, why just India? Why not attack Israel because of what it's doing to Palestinians in the occupied territories? Diplomacy and political solutions are the way forward.

I

you are a good product of the pakistani propoganda machine- churn out thousands of islmist terrorists ( including 7/7 bombers) and brainwash your own people that tits the neighbours fault. unfortunately its only you lot that live in that delusion.

. i assume next you would want Bradford and oldham to become independant states once home grown islamist terrorists there become a majority.

Pakistan is a terrorist state and India losing Kashmir won't weaken it to anything like the degree that would be advantageous to us.

So i'd perhaps support an independent state but not one which joined Pakistan.

When there's a Facebook feed news article involving anything to do with Pakistan or India or even an Indian of Pakistani person there's always loads of flaming. It's really funny to read.*

I have recently written an article about the issue of Kashmiri independence. It may be of interest to some. It can be viewed here: http://www.thesocialjungle.com/blog/...overeign-state

The Hindu ruling classes in India have been carrying out terrorism against Pakistan for a long time so it should be declared a terrorist state and a spencer of human rights abuses within India against the innocent Sikhs,Muslims, Christians and lower class Hindus.
