Medicine with Foundation Year

    • Thread Starter

Hi,I'm thinking of applying for medicine with foundation for 2017 entry. However, I do a BTEC level 3 extended diploma in Applied Science and have predicted grades of Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* and the minimum entry requirement for the universities I'm applying to are DDD. I have fairly good GCSE grades but have done my GCSEs in India. I've done my work experience at a charity in Ealing hospital and volunteer for a number of charities. I have a UKCAT score of 600 with band 2 SJT. I'm not pleased with my results but they're alright, given the amount of time I've had to practice.
    I'm currently applying to
    1. University of East anglia,
    2. Cardiff University
    3. University of Keele
    4. University of Surrey (biomedical science)
    5. University of Cardiff (biomedical science).
I'm applying for biomedical science and then will probably apply for graduate entry medicine as a back up plan.
What are my chances of getting invited for an interview later this year? I'm determined to doing medicine and not taking the graduate route. I appreciate any advice.
PS: are there any BTEC Students who have/are doing the medicine with Foundation course. What grade did you get? what were your experiences?
Which party will you be voting for in the General Election 2017?
