Hey, I am doing Chemistry, Physics and English Lit for my A level options. I have also decided to do EPQ. Initially, I had a different career in mind but now I wish to do Medicine. I intend to continue doing these subjects in year 12 and 13 without biology because I like them. Is it still possible for me to do medicine without biology? Thanks for the advice!
Hi, from what I've seen it's certainly possible to get into med school without biology - many places don't specifically require biology as a named subject. However, it will definitely affect your chances, as the vast majority of applicants will be taking biology and chemistry, and the universities may find it odd that you aren't taking biology for such a biology-orientated course. BUT having said that there are universities that will accept you if you have strong academic performance in your subjects, and if you do really well in UKCAT! Don't give up hope!

try to sacrifice english or physics for bio.
physics won't help medicine. maybe u like to share more info? would u change ur mind on your course choice? wat would it be?

Im proud u like physics. especially if ur a girl. 1 : 20 girl to boys ratio in physics. my AS physics have around 20 boys and 1 girl who came in late.

Some may ask for an A in AS Biology at least. Other say an A/B in Biology if not taken at A-Level, so technically it's still possible.
