Who are you closest too?

Don't ask me how I even thought of this lol but say if you were alone and were in trouble, had a panic attack or whatever (im not talking police or ambulance stuff) who would leave whatever they were doing, anytime and come out for you? I know my mum wouldn't and I don't have a gf, so I can't think.

Its just Ive been having panic attacks but if I had one on my own somewhere and I didn't know the people around me well enough what are you supposed to do?

Hmm, you'd have to go into a shop and ask the shopkeeper to phone someone or if you're in a residential area, knock on someones door.

It's really bad though. :frown: I went for a run and suddenly got AWFUL stomach cramps for some reason, I could barely walk. I kinda sat in the park for a bit, and like struggled to walk home- the petrol station people were really unhelpful.. luckily like some guy let me use the public toilet for free (i was obviously in pain!) but it didn't really help. Luckily I made it home ok but i would just have had to bang on some random door and be like 'help'. Urgh. :/

If it were the holidays- my mum would get me i'm sure. But during uni, hmm, flatmates I guess would :s-smilie:

From experience; no one. My mother would say she was coming, but would then just.. not come.

My dad, my exgirlfriend, my best friend, my aunt, other friends (mostly useless lol) in that order.

My Dad (if he's in the country...); then my Mum, my best mate (who just so happens to post on here! I could do one of those 'ASSEMBLE!' cries on TSR!), then my sister.
My mum, dad-when he's in the country, my oldest sister, my second oldest sister, my brother, my cousin, my best guy friend, a really close guy friend, my relatives-aunties in particular then my closest female friends

My mum, my boyfriend, my in-laws, my neighbours, my best friend down the road, her mum.... er.. I think most people I know near me, I could call on!
My parents, my sister, my brother (I know he would do this, cos I've had to call him at 2am before and he has travelled across the city to come get me), my boyfriend, my boyfriend's parents.

My dad would drop anything for me  but he is not the person I am closest to. I am closest to my bf, as he is also my best friend!

If I was in real trouble I think I could depend on my mom. We have our differences but if I really need her then she's there.

I think that's about it. I'd like to say my dad but I've never been close to him and I've never been in any kind of trouble he's needed to help me with so I don't know what he'd do. Plus he lives abroad, so fairly unhelpful

Actually, if I'm in pain, my cat gets really upset and comes and sits with/on me and meows and meows in a really distraught way! :hugs:

My lord and master Satan.

Probably my mum. But my close friends would too.

If you have a panic attack then I doubt your going to be in much of a state to do anything, not rational anyway, you'd hope people around you would notice something is up, and help you out no?

I presume you're getting treatment no, if not you should if it's affecting your life to any extent.
For me it is my best friend. I once called him at like 5am sitting outside the laudry at uni and in a very bad way. He came out to find me and offered me a bed for the night (or what remained of it).

And there's been other times when I've posted on TSR and had the help I needed.
I would've said my best friend because she was there for me when I had a breakdown. Our friendship is falling apart though.
So my mum and boyfriend probably. Definitely mum as she ran home to pick me up at home and rushed me to the doctor.

I know that no matter what, even if I was on the other side of the world If I really needed my mum to be there then she would come.

I was in wales on a school trip once (bearing in mind I live about 6 hours drive away in London) and was having a really awful time. The teachers had split me up from all my friends and put me with a group of people- mostly boys I didnt know, everyone else in the group were friends, and im really shy so I spent most of the days on my own doing horrible things like riding bikes through muddy fields in the middle of winter. The only reason I went on the bloody trip was to spend some time with my friends away from home, and I never got to see them! After a few days I was sick of being on my own, cold and muddy. I phoned my mum crying saying I hated it. 6 hours later she and my dad had driven to wales to come and get me! I never asked them to, but Im so glad they did because I was so miserable.
My mum will always be there for me, no matter what the situation is or where I am, even if she couldn't be there for me I'll know in my heart that her prayers will be with me instead.
