Usually when I post something in the wrong forum, a mod will move it to the appropriate forum..........a forum I have never heard of and I have to access my browser history to access my thread. Accessing that thread will then redirect me to whatever..........

Pluto is said to have a 248 year eerrrmmmmm............year.
More specifically it takes Earth 248 revolutions of the Sun for Pluto to make one revolution of the Sun. Pluto was discovered in the 30s, so how do they work out how long it takes to orbit the Sun when its done only about 1/3 of its orbit since discovery?

Also if anyone points out the Earths orbital period in "seconds", they will get brain cancer.

They put some guy on Pluto and after 10 years checked where he was at relative to how much earth moved. The rest is just simple math

Good point. Maybe Pluto has just been taking it slow and any time now, it will begin to sprint around the sun.
