A considered opinion on autonomous vehicles - Need Peoples HELP

I'm doing a research assignment and wanted to find out your views on autonomous vehicles (Self-driving cars) and i've been asked to get peoples opinions on different areas such as:

Whether drivers confidence in maintaining control in extreme conditions – will they be able to accelerate out of trouble if needed? How do the designers take into account driver needs such as enjoyment or the anxiety of losing control? What about failure and what is the back-up? How do they account for failure? How do the designers overcome any contravention of current legislation? Who is able and qualified to write such legislation?

Will people own cars or simply “call a car”?

Will there be fewer vehicles and will this impact on current industries and supply chain?

Finally suggest how they would like to influence any trend and will express their thoughts as to where they consider the future lies.
Any thoughts on any of them questions will be very beneficial to me. Thanks :smile:
