Still stuck living with parents - feel i'll never move out

I'd love to move to one of the UK's big cities, but rental prices at the moment in them are just too much.

it's so depressing how much it costs here to rent somewhere. The main kick in the balls is at a lot of rental agencies i've been to are deposits and fees, usually costing more than the rent itself. It makes me seriously worry about the future. i'm above the so-called living wage also, studying and working 20 hours a week. It really is demotivating being stuck in a box room at your parent's small house (you just don't feel welcome and people look down on you as a failur), working your ass off and still not having your own place and having to give your parent rent.

I've just lost hope at the moment. I live 30 miles away from the city in a small town so everything is crap. Everything just shuts so early, the gyms shut early (which is what i hate the most) and train fares eat away at my money, but if i didn't travel somewere more diverse, interesting and with better nightlife i'd go crazy (plus i need to get to uni)

28 that's why it's so depressing. I've had an opportunity to study higher with fees paid for, but the kicker is no living costs. That was the only opportunity i'll ever have to do it. If it was 2012-13 i would have been able to afford it, but wrong place wrong time. By the time i got a job and could have stayed at my old place it was too late. i ended up back home.

The housing situation is so depressing in this country, but i have to solider on i suppose. Pity i don't have a partner to move in with. That's what every other person my age seems to be doing. The Eminem track always comes to mind "if you had one shot, or one opportunity. To seize everything you ever wanted..."
