Biology AS-Level Question on Microscopes.

    • Thread Starter

1.) What type of electron microscope would be used to view the blood flow in an artery in the liver? (1 mark)
2.) Explain why this electron microscope would not be be able to identify the presence of the Ebola virus in liver cells. (2 marks)

Can someone please help me on this? I would really appreciate it!

Electron microscopes use a vacuum because electrons are absorbed by or deflected by air molecules so living cells cannot be studied. I think it may be something along these lines for both questions.
