Which route is better for teaching?

    Would it be better if I did primary education with QTS or primary education studies followed by a PGCE? Doing primary education with QTS seems easier as it's just the 3 years but what are the benefits of doing a PGCE?

    Other than masters level credits, there aren't any really.

    If you already know you want to be a teacher, do the undergrad route with QTS. Saves a year of your life, thousands of pounds and (I think... someone can correct me if I'm wrong) gives you a lot more hours on the ground in schools compared to the PGCE.
