Can't stop sweating. =S

Ok, got this problem and it's really pissing me off because it's ruining all my black shirts!

OK, I can't stop sweating. I've tried lynx, lynx dry, sure, Roll on, spray. I've tried something like 10 deodorants and I can't stop sweating.
It's not a new thing, I've been like this since I was 16, but didn't really bother me because I'd be wearing a suit or school uniform for the past 3 years (3 years of sixthform).

It's just annoying me because it isn't a little, it's rolling down my arms and sides something. And....it's ruining my shirts with sweat stains.

Just to make clear, I'm not over weight. I'm 19 and I weigh just under 8st (I've put on weight over this summer, I used to be just over 7st).
I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what to do about it? Should I put pure ethanol on my arm pits or what??? Please help, any advice (serious) would be appreciated.

Go the Docs? They can prescribe extra strong stuff.

Search for sweating..there have been loads of threads on sweating..

try using Dricolor (but if you read the other threads some people find that it stings)
Theres another thing called Odaban.

^^ these are all things sprays that you put on befpre you go to bed.

if you're in search of a deodrant try Mitchum.

Driclor is damn good stuff. It only stings if you put it on just after shaving your pits. I swear by it.

Okay, fourth person to STRONGLY recomment Driclor. It's slightly more expensive than normal anti-perspirants, but that's cause it actually works. I was sick of buying anti-perspirants that wore off after a few hours, so tried it, and it is amazing.

I have to apply about once a week, and yes it only stings if you've shaved, but I see OP is a guy, so no problems there. The first time or two it can itch a bit, but it's a tiny price to pay for how great it is!

Seriously? You apply it once a week. Doesn't it wash off in the shower?

And yet, I shave, but not my arm pits.

Well that's what I meant!

No it doesn't wash off in the shower, it sort of clogs the sweat things (damn I forget what they're called!). I think some people apply it twice a week of something, it depends how much you sweat, but it tends to be once a week for me!
It's worth a try really, seeing as usual sprays and stuff are really just pants.

Erm...

Avoid getting this medicine in direct contact with clothing, polished surfaces, jewellery and metal, as it may damage them. (quoted from the linky)

That's scary.

Haha, yeah I read that too.

But if it's dry I should be fine right?

I've ordered 3 bottles from boots (3 for 2 offer, get in!).

I couldn't get to sleep last night and it wasn't just worry about results. It was well painful. I think I might have used in incorrectly because I was burning for about 7 hours.

7 hours

dri-color is awesome :P may need to get some now because mate uses it and he used to sweat like a hippo

Although I never perspire much anyway, I've that drinking a lot of water helps a lot. Maybe it's not the same for everyone though.

I drink at least 2 glasses of water before going out.

I used to have a similar problem in high school and first year of college. I went my doctors and he said that I had an over-active thyroid (after blood tests) and that I would grow out of it. Its stopped mostly now, my back still gets quite bad but such is life

I recommend using the stronger deodrants (the more expensive ones) and try drying your underarms with tissues.
